Thankful for the strong, resilient people in my life.

As I mentioned in my introductory post, what I am thankful for today is the number of young folks in my life; specifically ladies, keeping their households running and holding their lives together no matter how hard it tries to get away from us.

Most of my time spent texting pals. . .or drinking wine on the floor of living rooms, is spent sharing stories of the insane things that are happening day to day in our lives. BUT the conversation always turns to what we’re going to do next. How we are going to roll with this punch. What steps we are taking to pull it together, gather our wits, learn from whatever the eff just happened and get back up again even stronger (and wiser!)

And I am SO grateful to be surrounded by the kind of people who share this mentality.

I cannot imagine the alternative. Because of all of you, I don’t know what it’s like to simply be down and out. The question is always what are we going to do? How are we going to solve this? Get past this? What do I do next?

I know that we are stronger than anything life flings our way, we can take it.

You inspire me.Rosie

You strengthen my resolve.

You teach me.

You reinforce me.

I thank you.
